RE: map Converter - When I complained about the pinging they sent me one n/c. JR has always given me good service. I would wait till you install the J&S v.2 and lower your base timing - that might do it.

Hint - turn the Map Limiter knob on the J&S all the way to the right. That seems to richen up the fuel a bit.

Know what'cha mean Sil. Throttle response was much, much better and power delivery felt more linear, but didn't run as hard up top.

I originally ran @ 15 degrees for a long while. On dyno day a few months back, they said I was running conservatively. I gave them a heads up that there may still be residule octane booster in the tank. So we all knew that the dyno readings would be a little off. I ended up with about 9 hp increase, BUT with the BTC down 3 clicks and timing up one to 16...that is until my next tank of gas two days later with the mandatory lower octane fuel. So now I'm back where I started.

I'm going to go ahead and try 15 degrees timing with the BTC down a notch...or three, hopefully!

Syncro - I haven't been in contact with JR since the day I drove there for the install. And with my luck, I'd probably have trouble getting their replacement pullies for free!
